As a Shelby Township Newborn Photographer, this session couldn’t have made me any happier. One of the best part of my job is working with past client. Even when they technically where not my clients first.

I first met Andrea and Mike when I helped photographed their wedding a few years back.

You probably do not know this but I second shoot weddings for Shannon over at Clicking Through Life photography.  Shannon has taught me a lot over the years, but I’m hoping by now we might be helping each other. J  Andrea and Mike’s wedding is a one that I will always remember, it was a fun day.

When I got an email from Andrea saying that she just had her second baby I jumped at the opportunity to photograph him and their growing family.

I’m so happy she hired me because these pictures came out so good. Little Wyatt is just adorable and slept through most of the session. Evelyn his big sister also did a great job, siblings under the age of 3 can sometimes be a little hard to get cooperate. She rocked it! Love this session, check it out below and please leave me a comment and let me know what you think.

What a beautiful day we had when we took these in January, yes that is how far behind I am in blogging. I really need to step up my game where my blog is concerned!

As I was saying it was a beautiful day the Saturday we took these images on Belle Isle. I can’t wait to go back this summer!

I cannot get over the fact that April is almost over and I’m just now getting to post this. Last month just flew by, and now it’s time for the 2nd in the series about what to wear for maternity portraits.

If you’re not following along with this series, I’ll give a little back story. I started this last month with the announcements of my Maternity Style Guide. This guide is here to help you plan for your upcoming portraits session.

For the more information about guide and to download a Free copy click here.

Here is my inspirational image from Design-Seeds.com. Doesn’t this picture scream spring? With the pastel colors and tulips. Working on these post is really making me want warmer weather, as I’m looking out the window at the gray sky. It might be gray but at least I can have the window open, the birds are singing and the trees have buds on them. So that’s a, plus right?

For this outfit, I paired a form fitting maternity top in a solid color with some simple gray cropped pants, a big floppy hat some jewelry completes the look. You can have your hubby in a nice green shirt and jeans and you will pull the whole color palette together nicely.

If you like any of the pieces that I picked out just click here and it will take your right to where you can purchase one thing or all of it!

P.S. Please tell me your thoughts about the series. If you would like to see more about what to ware!

This is my first baby of 2017, I know we are a few months in already but I’m a horrible procrastinator when it comes to blogging. I’m trying to get better about it, really I am. (I’m giggling while typing that)

Baby Amira was born in January and its now the end of March, man I’m bad. This little lady’s pictures turned out so cute to.

I had a super hard time picking what images I wanted to share, so there are a lot of them here. But this cuteness had to be shared. Little Amira along with being my first baby for 2017 she must hold the title for being the smallest baby I have photographed ever. Coming in at just over 5 pounds.

Mary and I really enjoyed our time with her, along with her mommy and daddy. I really hope that they are getting a little more sleep now that she is a little older.

Their family pictures turned out so beautiful, I’m super happy with this session and hope to work with them again in the future.

Being the nice people they are they treated Mary and I with lunch from their family’s pizza place. If you haven’t had Amar Pizza in Frasier you need to try it, we had Abdullah’s favorite Philly cheese steak and it was so good!  Made my lips burn a little bit LOL, but if you like spicy foods this is the pizza place for you! Please check them out! Thank you again Gul and Abdullah it really was delicious!!
